The Bills conducted their final practice at St. John Fischer officially ending the 2007 training camp. A couple weeks of practice and two preseason games later what have we learned about this team?
- J.P. Losman should not yet be anointed the next John Elway because he has struggled mightily through two preseason games. Is it still to early to say he’s the next Billy Joe Hobert? (Alright I guess I crossed the line with that one) A little bit more work and J.P. will be fine we just have to be patient.
- Marshawn Lynch and Paul Posluzsny are both really good
- The offensive line still needs work despite General Manager Marv Levy spending a lot of Ralph’s money on those guys
- The new H-Back position will be used often in the passing game…which is great but it means that the Bills are dumping the ball off. I haven’t been at the game so it’s hard to tell whether it’s because guys aren’t getting open or the line is not giving the QB time (or even worse it could be both)
- Anthony Hargrove likes getting in trouble… and he has an arrest record and a suspension to prove it.
- Coy Wire likes playing linebacker and I never thought I would say this but I like him playing linebacker.
- Donte Whitner seems much more comfortable in his second training camp
- They need to get better…much better
